Aim Recruitment is recruiting for a Residential Children's worker for our client based in Doulton, Wigan. This is a great opportunity to get started in an exciting new role as a residential children's worker supporting young people with their day-to-day lives, with the opportunity to learn and develop new skills.

Job Role

  • Supporting young people to live their day-to-day lives.
  • Provide a caring, supportive and nurturing environment in which children/young people can feel secure and free from harm.
  • Working with the homes young people to ensure their care plans are followed.
  • Working alongside a committed team and registered manager to bring the best possible outcomes for the homes young people.
  • Ensuring the company's policies, procedures, and statutory requirements are followed.
  • Availability to work shifts within the homes rota.

Requirements

  • Full UK Driving licence.
  • Previous experience desired but not essential.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • To be able to adapt well to challenging and changing situations.
