Aim Recruitment is recruiting a Registered Manager for our client based in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record with Ofsted to start in a newly opened 4-bed children's home and bring your skills and knowledge to the table!
Job Role
- Build, Lead, and Inspire an outstanding team to succeed in providing excellent support/care to each young person in the home.
- Make a house a home for all the young people to improve their everyday living to be fun and full of joy!
- The home is spacious with a large kitchen and garden and lots of staff parking for you and members of your team.
- The young people in this beautiful home will need support and guidance from you and your team due to childhood trauma.
- The home benefits from having a psychologist within the home and community as well as a dedicated education service for all children within your care.
Requirements
- Years of experience in a position relevant to Ofsted regulated services for young people (children).
- 2 years in a supervising role managing a staffing team.
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's workforce.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (However, our client will consider the experience and ambitious individuals to put them through this qualification).
- Good or Outstanding reports within your recent Ofsted Inspections.
- Professional but personal individuals that can improve the lives of each young person within the home to the best of their abilities.
Salary and Benefits
- Competitive salary up to £45,000.
- Performance bonuses up to £6,000 for achieving Good to Outstanding Ofsted Ratings.
- Relocation Package available of £5,000 if you are looking for a new start in a new area if you're not local.
- Supportive Regional Manager that is easily contactable and hands-on.
