Aim Recruitment is recruiting Support Workers / Care Assistants for our client based in Dunmow. This is a great opportunity to get started in an exciting new role as Support Worker / Care Assistant supporting Young People with their day-to-day lives within a beautiful countryside location with huge opportunities to learn and develop new skills!
Job Role
- Supporting Young People live their day-to-day lives full of fun and excitement.
- Working alongside the Registered Manager to provide excellent Support and Care to all Young People.
- Follow the individual set Support and Care plans to make sure each Young Person gets the right attention.
- Welcome families and visitors to the house and encourage their involvement in planning learning opportunities for the young person.
- Work within the policies, procedures, and statutory requirements of the company to a high standard.
- Give regular feedback on the support and significant issues in the young person's day.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic individual looking for a new challenge.
- Have a good sense of humour, be committed, and most of all be creative.
- Experience is not essential but the willingness to learn and go above and beyond is key.
- Be able to act calmly and sensitively to young people.
- Demonstrate the ability to always maintain confidentiality.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Work with an excellent support/caring provider and outgoing Registered Manager.
- Learn and undergo your Level 3 Qualification on the job if you don't hold this already.
