Aim Recruitment is recruiting a Support Worker for our client based in Colchester. This is a great opportunity to join a team that provides quality care to adults with learning difficulties and support them throughout their day-to-day activities and tasks.
Within a supported living home based in Colchester, there are opportunities to undertake further training and development.
Job Role:- Support residents in daily tasks, personal care, mealtime, and food preparation.
- Help them plan exciting meals that fit with their diet plans.
- Assist in fun activities for the residents such as trips to the cinema, sporting events, and seasonal parties.
- Support them in picking holidays of their choice whilst promoting independence.
- Work alongside the home manager and coordinator to undertake tasks that contribute to the smooth running of the home and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Provide and complete all relevant records to a high standard.
- To have a positive, confident, and calm approach.
- To be a good team player as well as being able to work on your own.
- 12-hour shifts are required, so enthusiasm and a positive environment are key.
- Previous experience is not required but is desirable for this role.
- A valid UK driving license.
