AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group is seeking to appoint a Chair of its Access and Compliance Committee at an important point in the organisation's development and regulatory oversight. The Access and Compliance Committee is a formal committee of the Board of Trustees and operates with delegated authority. It provides assurance to the Board on quality, standards, regulation and compliance across AIM's regulated activities as an Awarding Organisation, Access Validating Agency and Apprenticeship Assessment Organisation.
The Chair will lead the Committee and work closely with the Chair of the Board, the Responsible Officer and the CEO to ensure effective scrutiny, constructive challenge and robust assurance. The Chair reports to the Board of Trustees and ensures that the Committee fulfils its responsibilities in line with its approved Terms of Reference. The Committee meets at least three times each year. The Chair will also attend approximately four Board meetings annually.
