Weymouth Museum Trust is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of an ambitious new community museum in the historic heart of Weymouth.
Weymouth Museum Trust is working to establish a sustainable, inclusive and engaging museum in a new purpose-designed space within the historic brewery building adjacent to Weymouth Harbour. The museum will showcase Weymouth's rich social history collections and create community-curated exhibitions, activities and interpretation that reflect the lived experiences of local people.
About the role
The appointed Project Manager will provide overall management and coordination for the successful establishment of the new Weymouth Museum. Working closely with the Project Board, trustees, consultants, designers and delivery partners, the Project Manager will guide the project through its Development Phase and, subject to a successful Delivery Phase application and satisfactory completion of the Development Phase, continue into delivery.
