We are looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion, enjoys working in a hands‑on way, and is dedicated to helping children with complex neurodiverse needs thrive and succeed.
In this rewarding role, you will provide essential 1:1 and small group learning and emotional support for a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Working closely with our SENCo, class teachers and parents, you will play a key role in making learning accessible, engaging and safe, helping our pupils to feel confident, supported and ready to learn.
We are looking for someone to join Team Dubs: The successful applicant must demonstrate:
- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions aligned with the pupil's specific EHCP targets.
- Adapt classroom teaching materials to meet individual communication and learning styles.
- Implement positive behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
- Foster independent learning skills while scaffolding daily educational tasks.
- Collaborate closely with external specialists, including Speech and Language Therapists.
- Track, record and report progress data directly to the class teacher.
- Loves working with children of all abilities; being able to forge positive relationships quickly.
- Can lead by example and will embody our school ethos.
- Works well as a team and will embrace our school ethos.
- Has experience of working across the primary age range.
- Work well with parents and carers.

Grade 2 SCP 5 - £25,583 pro rata, 32.5 hours per week (8.30am - 3.30pm), Term Time only plus 1 week (including INSET Days). This post is offered on a fixed‑term basis as it is linked to the provision of support for named pupils.
