The predicted salary is between 31650 - 43607 £ per year.

The contract will end on the specified date, or earlier should the circumstances of the pupil(s) change (for example, if the pupil leaves the school or their support needs change), subject to appropriate consultation and notice. There is no guarantee that the post will be extended beyond the current arrangement.

The Governors and Head Teacher are delighted to be looking for caring, committed and enthusiastic individuals to join our team, supporting our wonderful pupils with complex ASD needs. We are looking for someone who is passionate about inclusion, enjoys working in a hands‑on way, and is dedicated to helping children with complex neurodiverse needs thrive and succeed.

In this rewarding role, you will provide essential 1:1 and small group learning and emotional support for a pupil with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). Working closely with our SENCo, class teachers and parents, you will play a key role in making learning accessible, engaging and safe, helping our pupils to feel confident, supported and ready to learn.

We are looking for someone to join Team Dubs: The successful applicant must demonstrate:

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions aligned with the pupil's specific EHCP targets.
  • Adapt classroom teaching materials to meet individual communication and learning styles.
  • Implement positive behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies.
  • Foster independent learning skills while scaffolding daily educational tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with external specialists, including Speech and Language Therapists.
  • Track, record and report progress data directly to the class teacher.
  • Loves working with children of all abilities; being able to forge positive relationships quickly.
  • Can lead by example and will embody our school ethos.
  • Works well as a team and will embrace our school ethos.
  • Has experience of working across the primary age range.
  • Work well with parents and carers.

Grade 2 SCP 5 - £25,583 pro rata, 32.5 hours per week (8.30am - 3.30pm), Term Time only plus 1 week (including INSET Days). This post is offered on a fixed‑term basis as it is linked to the provision of support for named pupils.
