The Role
We’re looking for a driven Quantity Surveyor to join AIM in Emsworth.
You’ll play a key role in managing project costs, reducing risk, and delivering value across a range of construction projects—from tender stage through to final accounts.
- What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing cost estimates, tenders, and bills of quantities
- Analysing project documentation and supplier/subcontractor proposals
- Managing project costs, budgets, and cashflow
- Carrying out risk management and value engineering
- Supporting procurement strategy and project delivery
- Managing valuations and subcontractor applications
- Producing CVRs, forecasts, and financial reports
- Preparing final accounts
- Supporting pre-construction and tender submissions
- Maintaining strong Health & Safety awareness
- What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management (or equivalent experience)
- Previous QS or similar experience
- Strong estimating and cost control knowledge
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills
