Make an impact as Raw Material Technologist in a dynamic and growing Fresh Food supplier to retail customers. This hands‑on supplier, raw‑materials focused role provides the opportunity to support supplier compliance, drive quality improvements, and gain valuable technical experience in a high‑care production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the quality and compliance of allocated raw materials from supplier to production
- Support supplier approvals, testing programs, and compliance record‑keeping
- Work with production and intake teams to resolve quality issues and protect product yield
- Track quality performance and waste trends, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Assist in the implementation of food safety and quality initiatives, supporting senior technical colleagues
- Provide technical information to internal teams to ensure product integrity and customer requirements are met
Key Requirements
- Some experience in a technical food, agriculture, or fresh produce role
- Knowledge of food safety and quality practices, ideally HACCP or auditing awareness
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Fluent in English; additional languages such as Spanish are desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
