An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Product Manager to take ownership of ingredient quality and supplier compliance within a leading Fresh Food business.

Sitting within the procurement team, this hands-on role ensures raw materials meet customer, safety, and legal standards from source to production while driving improvements across the supply base.

The position of Technical Product Manager offers exposure to supplier management, data analysis, and factory-based quality activities, giving you the chance to influence raw material quality, supplier performance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate pre-season documentation and supplier approvals to align with supply plans
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and complete supplier due diligence
  • Lead supplier audits and compliance for raw materials
  • Collaborate with production and intake teams to resolve quality issues and protect yield
  • Track waste trends and quality performance, identifying improvement opportunities
  • Promote best practice in food quality management, HACCP, and ingredient safety
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a food technical role, ideally in fresh produce or high-care ready-to-eat production
  • HACCP, auditing, and food safety knowledge or qualifications
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Self-organised, resilient, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Fluent in English; Spanish or other European languages desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
