AIM is building the future of football development. Our mission is simple: Creating Tomorrow's Champions. Through a combination of AI, computer vision, biomechanics and coaching expertise, we're creating tools that help players improve, coaches make better decisions and talent become visible regardless of geography or access. Our platform combines an AI-powered Player App with a Coach Portal designed to support player development, talent identification and performance tracking at scale. Already operating across the UK, UAE and South Africa, AIM is entering an exciting growth phase as we prepare for international expansion, major partnerships and the next evolution of our technology.

This is an opportunity to join an ambitious startup at a pivotal stage and play a key role in helping us scale.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a highly organised, proactive Product & Delivery Manager to become the bridge between our leadership team and technical team. As AIM grows, we need someone whose primary focus is ensuring our product roadmap keeps moving forward. You will work directly with the CEO, technical founders, engineers and wider business teams to coordinate delivery, maintain visibility across projects and ensure priorities remain aligned. This is not a traditional corporate project management role. You'll be joining a fast-moving startup where priorities evolve, opportunities emerge quickly and communication is critical. You'll help turn ideas, requirements and business priorities into clear development plans. You'll track progress, challenge timelines when needed, identify risks early and ensure the wider business understands what is being built, when it is being delivered and why it matters. The right person will enjoy creating structure where it doesn't yet exist, solving problems before they become issues and helping a growing business move faster and smarter. While the initial focus is product delivery, roadmap management and communication, there is significant opportunity for this role to grow as AIM expands globally.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Product Roadmap Management
    • Own and maintain the central AIM product roadmap
    • Work with the CEO and technical team to prioritise features, improvements and bug fixes
    • Ensure business priorities are clearly translated into development priorities
    • Maintain visibility of delivery timelines, dependencies and milestones
    • Keep roadmap documentation accurate and up to date
  • Product Delivery & Coordination
    • Coordinate activities across engineering, product testing and operational teams
    • Monitor progress against agreed timelines
    • Identify blockers, risks and dependencies early
    • Drive accountability and follow up on actions to ensure momentum is maintained
    • Support launch planning and release coordination
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Act as the day-to-day bridge between the technical team and the wider business
    • Create regular product updates and progress reports
    • Ensure leadership has visibility of roadmap progress and risks
    • Communicate feature releases and product changes internally
    • Help non-technical stakeholders understand development priorities and timelines
  • Product Testing & Feedback
    • Coordinate testing of new features and product updates
    • Gather feedback from players, coaches, academies and partners
    • Attend product demonstrations, events and pilot sessions where appropriate
    • Observe how users interact with the platform in real-world environments
    • Help turn feedback into actionable recommendations
  • Product Operations
    • Help establish scalable product and delivery processes
    • Improve communication flows between teams
    • Support sprint planning, roadmap reviews and delivery meetings
    • Create systems and reporting that improve visibility and accountability
  • Market & Competitor Research
    • Monitor emerging trends in sports technology, AI and coaching platforms
    • Conduct competitor analysis and research
    • Share insights, opportunities and recommendations with leadership
    • Stay informed about best practice across product delivery and customer experience

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • 3+ years experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Project Management, Delivery Management or a similar role
  • Experience working closely with software engineering or technical teams
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills

  • Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Naturally proactive and solutions-focused
  • Confident chasing actions, challenging timelines and driving accountability
  • Comfortable translating business needs into clear actions and requirements

Desirable

  • Experience working within a startup or scale-up environment
  • Experience with SaaS, mobile applications or AI-powered products
  • Experience coordinating remote teams
  • Interest in football, sports performance, coaching or athlete development

The Type of Person Who Will Thrive Here

  • You enjoy bringing order to chaos
  • You naturally take ownership and follow things through
  • You are comfortable working without all the answers
  • You ask questions and challenge assumptions
  • You enjoy building processes rather than simply following them
  • You are equally comfortable speaking with founders, engineers and customers
  • You care about outcomes more than job titles
  • You enjoy being part of a team building something meaningful from the ground up

Why Join AIM?

  • Join a company using AI to transform player development and talent identification
  • Work directly with founders and senior leadership
  • Have genuine influence on how the business operates and scales
