Are you an experienced domiciliary care worker looking for additional shifts? We currently support a female client who requires 4 calls per day: Morning, Lunchtime, Tea call, Night call. It would be a great bonus if you can speak Tagalog!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility support.
  • Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Support with medication administration as per training and guidelines.
  • Assist with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Drive between different care locations if required, ensuring timely and reliable service delivery.

Experience:

  • Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with developing and following care plans is desirable.
  • Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites or clients’ homes.
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues.
