We require a chef for a residential care home for elderly residents. Responsibilities include:
- Cooking English cuisine for around 18-20 residents
- Planning balanced, nutritious menus tailored to elderly residents
- Accommodating special dietary needs
- Preparing and cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Modifying textures (chopped, mashed, pureed foods) when needed
- Ensuring meals are appetising, varied, and culturally appropriate
- Following strict food hygiene standards
- Ordering food supplies and managing stock levels
