Are you an experienced domiciliary care worker looking for additional shifts? We currently support a female client who requires 4x calls per day:
- Morning
- Lunchtime
- Tea call
- Night call
Would be a great bonus if you can speak Tagalog!
Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as washing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each person's needs
- Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance quality of life
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and family members to ensure seamless care delivery
- Support with medication administration as per training and guidelines
- Assist with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Drive between different care locations if required, ensuring timely and reliable service delivery
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Familiarity with developing and following care plans is desirable
- Proficiency in using IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites or clients' homes
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and colleagues
