We require a chef for a Residential care home for elderly residents.
Responsibilities:
- Cooking English cuisine for around 18-20 residents
- Plan balanced, nutritious menus tailored to elderly residents
- Accommodate special dietary needs
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner
- Modify textures (chopped, mashed, pureed foods) when needed
- Ensure meals are appetising, varied, and culturally appropriate
- Follow strict food hygiene standards
- Order food supplies and manage stock levels
- Engage with residents
This is a full-time permanent vacancy working 5 days a week 7am-3pm, some weekends will be required.
