Ailsa Response are looking for compassionate, caring individuals to work with us as a Befriender!

The role includes providing companionship to the service user as well as offering a helping hand in supporting them through their daily life with some personal care if required.

We are offering 6 week block bookings of two or three shifts per week dependent on the client’s requirements. Shift times are between 3-4 hours per day, optional overtime is also available.

Shifts are allocated based on the availability you give us on a week to week basis.

Job Role

Provide companionship to service users in their own homes. Engaging with them during their daily routine and ensuring their needs are met, this could include having a cup of tea and a chat or accompanying on a walk to a park or café.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months paid UK BASED care experience
Commitment to 6-week block bookings with the client
Ability to commute to South of Glasgow
