The Role:

The Finance Business Partner plays a critical role in the team, acting as a key business partner and decision-support lead for the UK business. Supporting the whole UK business, the role is responsible for delivering high-quality financial planning, analysis, reporting, and operational insight to support strategic and commercial decision-making. This role is a blend of monthly management accounting, business partnering with non-finance and utilising Excel and Power BI to drive better insight and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and periodic reforecasts
  • Provide clear financial insight, analysis, and decision support to the SLT
  • Act as a trusted finance business partner to operational and functional leaders
  • Accurate reporting of month end performance (including posting of journals ensuring accounting policies are being followed)
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis and cost deep-dives to identify risks, opportunities, and efficiency improvements
  • Support the Senior FP&A Manager, collaborating closely with Group Finance teams, including global stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely completion of budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting cycles.
  • Support operational performance optimisation through forward-looking financial analysis and strategic business partnering.
  • Support the Senior FP&A Manager to continuously improve Opex reporting within Power BI, partnering with IT teams to maintain robust, accurate, and relevant reporting solutions
  • FP&A accrual balance sheet reconciliation

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Finalist or Newly Qualified Accountant with solid month end experience
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a commercially curious mindset
  • Business partnering experience with non-Finance stakeholders and a confident communicator
  • Strong Excel skills – confident in manipulating data, pivot tables and formulas
