Management Accountant £50,000 - £55,000 + Study Support

Are you a Part Qualified Management Accountant with a growth mindset, comfortability in producing management accounts with excellent excel? If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you as we look to add a Management Accountant to an exciting business that has experienced an impressive 30% YOY growth since 2023.

40m turnover SME service-based business ~ Hybrid working: 3 days in, 2 remote

We are looking to hire an experienced part-qualified Management Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be a diligent, proactive, detail-orientated individual, who demonstrates critical thinking and actively takes on responsibilities to deliver high quality outcomes to deadlines. You will have strong interpersonal skills and be excited about joining a friendly finance team in a busy environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts, ideally in an SME environment and be looking for a role where they can be challenged, develop further and support an Assistant Accountant in their development too.

  • Preparation of Group monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of reporting packs for Senior Management and Executive Board
  • Oversee month-end balance sheet reconciliations and control checks to ensure accurate records and month-end accounts are produced
  • Processing monthly payroll and year-end payroll tasks in the UK and international entities
  • Managing Corporation Tax and VAT reporting and payments in all office locations
  • Leading the UK and overseas Audits and statutory reporting
  • Continuing process improvements and system implementations to maximise efficiency
  • Prior experience in preparing management accounts
  • Excellent Excel skills with experience in building models, creating reports and reconciliations
