The role:

You will operate in a cross-functional role that guides decision making within the business and is integral to investment and strategic decision making. You will sit at the centre of finance in a fast-paced and exciting business, integral to every area of the company in a true finance business partnering role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on month end regulations processes, including variance analysis and a forward-looking view inclusive of risk and opportunities
  • Support the annual regulations submission process, partnering with Financial Control, FP&A, and budget owners to ensure timely, accurate, and fully compliant filings
  • Lead internal education to increase regulation awareness across Technical, Operational, and Performance Enabling Functions
  • Ensure enhanced understanding of the financial and regulatory implications of decisions made
  • Provide constructive challenge to departments where spending or resource allocations could be better maximised
  • Collaborate with other Finance Business Partners to identify key areas where we can handle costs in such a way as to allow further exclusions
  • Maintain scenario models with FP&A, to allow for agile modelling of future changes in regulations
  • Demonstrable ability to influence, challenge, and support senior leaders.
