Are you a Qualified Accountant with strong commercial skills who is interested in a Finance Business Partnering role within a multi-site UK Leisure business? Aila is partnered with a PE backed Group who are looking for a commercially strong, analytical and motivated Finance Business Partner to join the team.

The role:
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking to join a multi-site leisure business in a role that is truly focused on business partnering with sites, adding value through insightful analysis and taking a leading role in commercial business partnering with Operations and owning their Retail and Leisure spend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build the budget for operational expenditure, on-site spend and entertainment
- Deliver a budget and detailed reforecasts throughout the year in accordance with the FP&A timetable
- Using performance trends to develop top-down monthly P&L outlooks highlighting risks and opportunities to target
- Continuously improving the budget process including seeking automation and integration with reporting systems
- Improve KPI's and benchmarking standards to assist in setting challenging but achievable plans
- Improve accuracy and efficiency around production of budgets, forecasts and reporting
- Support the creation of a suite of monthly reporting, summarising period performance through insightful narrative
- Ensure Capex requests are supported by robust business cases and benefits can be tracked against plan
- Prepare insightful commentary on performance (vs budget/forecast)
- Review management accounts to explain and challenge the business
