We are partnered with an international services business who are wanting to hire a Senior Finance Business Partner who can lead and own their transformation project, take lead in reducing their month end timeline, reviewing and implementing AI automation and enhancing their processes to free up time for the finance function to be able to add value to the business across several departments.

The role:
This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking to join a multi-site and international business. Having grown internationally and reached £100m+ revenue with strong EBITDA, the Finance Director is now looking to enhance the way they report in finance through improving processes, automating basic tasks and utilising AI and reporting tools to add value to the business. Although this is a role designed around process improvement, you will still be involved in the production of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, map, and redesign end-to-end finance processes to improve efficiency, control, and scalability.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual and repetitive tasks, improving accuracy, efficiency, and auditability.
- Build and implement automated solutions using available tools, including but not limited to Power Query, Power BI, AI enabled tools, Anaplan, and Excel automation.
- Reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets and improve data flows between finance systems.
- Continuously improving reporting and transparency using PowerBI and AI.
- Prepare and deliver monthly financial reports to the leadership team and business units.
- Develop and provide financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision making.
- Support non finance managers in understanding cost drivers, variances, and the financial impact of operational decisions.
- Establish, foster, and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to gather insights, explain financial performance, and support informed decision making.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) with 2-3 years of post-qualification and automation/process improvement experience.
- Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
- Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail.
- Hands on experience with Power BI, Anaplan, or similar planning/analytics platforms.
- Exposure to AI enabled finance tools or automation technologies.
- Experience documenting and embedding new processes in a growing or changing organisation.
- Finance transformation, ERP upgrade, or system implementation exposure.
The Package & Benefits:
- Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 pro rata
- Hybrid working (3 in, 2 out)
