About the Company: We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager with a proven track record in the Utility Renewable Energy sector at the UK level.

About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for new customer development, key account acquisition, and managing existing key accounts. You will work closely with high-level stakeholders, ensuring sales growth, customer satisfaction, and market expansion. This role demands strong leadership, a deep understanding of the solar utility industry, and the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new customer relationships and acquire key accounts in the utility renewable energy sector.
  • Take full ownership of assigned key account customers, ensuring their needs are met and relationships are maintained.
  • Lead negotiations and provide support at the C-level with Utilities, Investors, Developers, and EPCs.
  • Identify and analyze customer requirements related to products and services, ensuring alignment with company offerings.
  • Take responsibility for achieving key account sales targets and overall business growth.
  • Collaborate with the solution engineering team to ensure customer requirements are addressed in product development and service delivery.
  • Present new products and services to key accounts, positioning the company as a leader in the renewable energy market.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and conduct market analysis to drive sales growth.
  • Develop innovative sales strategies to capture new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
  • Analyze sales potential, identifying key areas for growth and improvement.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of subordinate account managers to achieve company goals.
  • Oversee sales initiatives and strategies in specially assigned sectors, ensuring successful execution.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the utility renewable energy sector at the UK level, with a strong preference for candidates with international/export experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the solar utility business across the UK.
  • Fluent in spoken and written business English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Extensive experience working with Utilities, Investors, Developers, and EPCs.
  • Strong background in contract negotiations, particularly with senior management and C-level executives.
  • A polished and cultivated business attitude, with a professional demeanor and attention to detail.
  • Possibility of working remotely, demonstrating self-discipline and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams from different locations.
  • A team player with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage internal and external stakeholders.
