We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of waste across various locations, supporting operations such as high pressure water jetting, tank cleaning and hazardous waste collections while adhering to all safety regulations.
The ideal candidate must hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence with experience of working within the Industrial Services Industry. A strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service is essential.
Responsibilities- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with all legal and safety requirements for industrial services and waste transport.
- Conduct pre‑journey checks on the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and safety standards are met.
- Support site based activities including tank cleaning and jetting operations when required.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately for transport and site work.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies during driving operations.
- Maintain all vehicles to the highest safety and operational standard.
- Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence.
- Proven experience working as a Driver within an Industrial Services role or Hazardous Waste sector.
- Up to date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Strong focus on safety, compliance and teamwork.
- Flexibility to work across various sites and shifts.
- Additional qualifications (e.g. Water Jetting, Confined Space, CSCS/Safety Passport) are advantageous.
