We’re looking for a UX Designer to join our consulting team at Aiimi. You’ll support user-centred design activity across various client engagements, working with stakeholders, users, and delivery teams to help shape effective, evidence-based solutions. This role is suited to someone who can apply core UX methods in practice, contribute to research and design activity, communicate design decisions clearly, and work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to deliver accessible, user-centred outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • A solid grounding in UX and user-centred design methods within project delivery.
  • A client-focused mindset, with experience working closely with external stakeholders and adapting approach, communication, and design thinking to different delivery contexts.
  • Confidence creating wireframes, user journeys, and prototypes for user needs.
  • Able to analyse research data and turn findings into clear, useful insight.
  • Clear communication, with the ability to share findings in ways that suit different audiences.
  • A collaborative approach to workshops, design sessions, and team-based problem solving.
  • Strong stakeholder awareness, with a focus on building relationships and explaining decisions through evidence.
  • An appreciation of accessibility requirements and inclusive design standards.
  • Comfort working in an Agile way and adapting to feedback as work evolves.
  • Experience working closely with multidisciplinary delivery teams.
  • Confidence articulating the value of user-centred design to stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with using both qualitative and quantitative insight to improve design outcomes.
  • An interest in contributing to team processes, standards, or ways of working.
  • Exposure to working with digital and data leaders as part of project delivery.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and run workshops with external clients, users, or stakeholders.
  • Identify and engage the right people throughout the design process.
  • Apply techniques for analysing research data and synthesising findings.
  • Communicate clear findings through artefacts that colleagues and stakeholders can understand and use.
  • Create wireframes, user journeys, and prototypes that meet user needs.
  • Explain design decisions clearly to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Support designs to meet appropriate standards, including accessibility regulations.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative user insights to inform design decisions.
  • Build effective stakeholder relationships, reach consensus, and use evidence to explain decisions.
  • Support other designers, contribute to improving processes and guidelines, and work effectively in an Agile manner.
