Aigas Field Centre is recruiting a Live In Cook for the 2026 season at its eco tourism lodge in the Scottish Highlands, located around 15 miles from Inverness.

This is a hands on kitchen role suited to an experienced and organised cook who enjoys working independently in a unique rural setting and delivering high quality meals for guests.

The role

As Live In Cook, you will be responsible for preparing evening meals five days per week for up to 35 guests.

Meals are served as a three course set menu with one sitting, alongside preparing two buffet lunches per week and cakes for afternoon tea.

You will also be responsible for catering for special dietary requirements and allergies, ensuring meals are safe, inclusive, and well planned.

This role requires strong organisation, confidence working alone in the kitchen, and pride in delivering consistent, well presented food.

Working pattern

This is a seasonal role running from March to October 2026.

You will work five days per week.

The role is based on site at Aigas Field Centre, with live in accommodation provided for a nominal charge.

What we are looking for

This role would suit an experienced cook with a practical, reliable approach and the ability to manage their own workload.

You should be confident preparing meals for groups, comfortable handling dietary requirements, and happy working in a rural, eco tourism environment.
