As a trusted advisor, you will tailor multinational insurance solutions for our global clients, empowering them to operate across borders with confidence and consistency.
Partner with a dynamic, global team of experts, including underwriters, risk engineers, and analytics and claims professionals, to design, implement and service multinational insurance programs. This includes issuing timely policies, providing regulatory advice, sharing local knowledge, supporting efficient money movement capabilities, and deploying large fronted limits. AIG Multinational professionals have the diverse skills and expertise necessary to deliver customized, compliant, and seamless solutions that support our clients’ risk management objectives. With in-depth knowledge of local markets, practices and regulations, Multinational provides world-class insurance solutions and helps clients successfully navigate their cross-border risks, wherever in the world their businesses take them.
How you will make an impact
- Supervise a team of Multinational Issuing Office Coordinators, Issuing Office Specialists, and supporting resources in alignment with AIG’s Global Multinational Business Model, to deliver targeted Multinational client service and execution within agreed SLAs.
- Partner with and direct Shared Services teams to optimize workflow efficiency, drive service level improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Engage with internal stakeholders within product, reinsurance, collections, tax & legal to ensure the execution of compliant UK policies and bookings.
- Communicate UK regulatory and policy implementation requirements to the AIG global network to drive process efficiency and reduce rework.
- Coordinate administration of any renewal or pre-issuance home / exposure state regulatory notifications.
- Closely monitor performance of the UK office to identify opportunities for service, quality, workflow and operational improvements.
- Oversee all pre and post bind activities on the UK Issuing Office portfolio and embed core principles of the end-to-end process providing direction and supervision to optimize workflow efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Execute compliant and accurate policies, bookings & invoices within agreed SLAs.
- Support development, testing and implementation of new Multinational systems and practices, including Multinational Xpress.
- Foster an environment where employees can grow and maximize their talent including appropriate training, career development, and succession planning.
- Ensure that all service level standards and performance metrics are met on assigned portfolio and improve multinational client experience as measured by client and broker satisfaction.
- Create a risk-aware culture of integrity and accountability to ensure full awareness and compliance of AIG policies and procedures, ethical behaviours and practices, and ownership of risks in day-to-day responsibilities.
- Support the execution of the Multinational strategy within the region, establish and execute a regular cadence of communication with key stakeholders in product and distribution.
- Provide support to multinational growth strategies, business development, thought leadership and training as appropriate.

- Ability to handle multiple priorities, organize work and meet tight deadlines and service standards.
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas and influence outcomes.
- Ability to identify operational improvements and gain technical knowledge and experience to carry out those improvements.
- Strong technical knowledge of multinational programs with knowledge of regulatory issues, product requirements, reinsurance, tax, collections, producer licensing and the systems and processes that support multinational business.
- Knowledge in multiple lines of business - Commercial & Personal Lines Knowledge of non-conventional insurance programs.
