You can work alongside a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to explore and deliver new solutions to meet our customers' global insurance needs.
This is a fantastic client facing role for an inquisitive, analytical problem solver who wants to progress their career within the insurance industry. Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Promote AIG's Multinational Captive servicing capabilities
- Build strong working relationships with clients to gain a good technical understanding of client needs, market regulation / complexities and solutions.
- Partner with Producing Offices to provide technical expertise in understanding program structures from a claims perspective for our global clients.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders (producing & issuing offices, captive brokers, clients, reinsurers etc).
- Participate in client (internal/external) meetings and conference calls.
- Maintain a professional relationship with all assigned clients (approx. 75 – 100 accounts)
- Familiarise yourself with, and understand fully, the workflows involved in a multinational program, particularly in relation to the claim flows
- Prepare and issue loss recoverable billings on a monthly or ad hoc basis within set deadlines
- Prepare reserve, incurred reports and monitoring per occurrence, and ensure annual aggregate breaches are flagged and adjusted on a monthly or ad hoc basis
- Collate supporting documentation to issue to the client with the loss billings
- Review and analyse cash receipts if needed to ensure prompt allocation of cash
- Classify and explain uncollected items on a monthly basis
- Follow up on uncollected loss recoverables as required and maintained at an agreed level
- Escalate delinquent balances to management promptly
- Ensure required bookings to the claims system are completed and approved
- Respond to all audit-related queries on the assigned client accounts within required deadlines.
- Regular monitoring of cash receipts and unallocated cash
What you'll need to succeed:
- Office experience, ideally within a similar role
- Quick and inquisitive learner, who wants to become a subject matter expert
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Experience of working with data and numbers
- Self-motivated and pro-active, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and client / customer service skills
- Experience of producing reports and documentation
