Talbot Underwriting Services Ltd (TS1) is an international insurer operating within the Lloyd’s market. We seek an experienced technician to support the processing of Lloyd’s claims through our Syndicate 1183 and 2019 teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Timely processing of claims information, ensuring the team maintains Service Level Agreements
  • Identifying and assisting with operational improvements
  • Monitoring the claims processing mailbox and processing all post‑received items into the mailbox within the Processing Services SLA
  • Maintaining electronic claims files within Processing Services records per agreed procedures
  • Updating the internal workflow system CycloPS Claims with accurate claim information
  • Completing accurate and timely data entry into Enterprise Risk (Brokasure system)
  • Transmitting claim transactions into CLASS and ECF for Talbot claims adjuster review
  • Reviewing and resolving queries raised by Talbot Claims or Xchanging Claims technicians within CLASS
  • Producing accurate documentation for presentation to Talbot Finance to ensure timely payment of claims and fees
  • Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to all queries from brokers and internal stakeholders within the claims mailbox
  • Supporting ad‑hoc premium tasks, ensuring the processing team maintains Service Level Agreements
  • Supporting audit requests through prompt response to data requests

Qualifications

  • Experience with Brokasure Enterprise (Enterprise Risk and Enterprise Accounts) – preferred
  • Experience with Xchanging systems including Insurance Portal and Insurance Market Repository – preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff
  • Knowledge of the Lloyd’s Market and the classes of business written at Talbot
