Purpose of the role
- To actively support the Personal Accident Claims function in attaining its objectives through the proactive assessment and management of genuine claims within the settlement authority limit.
- Contribute to the department achieving its overall objectives by ensuring delivery of a customer-focused service within a legal and regulatory framework.
How you’ll make an impact
- Handle and investigate complex claims in accordance with internal service levels and policy conditions.
- Develop technical and soft skills for accurate assessment and reserving of claims.
- Promote compliance with best practices in claims assessment and adhere to procedures for Corporate and Direct policies.
- Demonstrate principles of Treating Customers Fairly and reinforce FCA and internal complaints procedures.
- Identify and review suspect or fraudulent claims using key fraud indicators.
