Client & Broker Engagement

Our Client & Broker Engagement (CBE) team manages AIG’s major client relationships across all product lines, as well as driving new business activity. The team serves major clients and broker partners through an elevated, personalized experience – our client-centric framework drives a consistent experience and best practices, while allowing flexibility to meet the client’s needs.

About the role

You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong local relationships with contacts at specialty and wholesale brokers – and for identifying and securing new opportunities and relationships. Your goal will be to maximize value and revenue from key agreements and contracts whilst developing and embedding an innovative approach to business development.

You will build and manage a pipeline of opportunities through effective use of Salesforce. You will also have the chance to promote sales growth through new channels and new products in addition to traditional distribution routes.

We want you to optimize team expertise across your designated region in line with market strategies and sales plans. In addition, you will influence the wider organization by promoting a sales focus and customer/broker-centric mentality across all stakeholders within AIG.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Knowledge of commercial insurance distribution and different distribution methods.
  • Proven relationship management skills and a track record of achieving exceptional sales results.
  • Proven ability in developing and executing sales and distribution plans.
  • Strong commercial skills in analysing; planning; strategy; key relationships; and performance management.
  • Awareness of legal and compliance issues.

Ready to prove your potential? We would love to hear from you.

At AIG, we value in-person collaboration as a vital part of our culture, which is why we ask our team members to be primarily in the office. This approach helps us work together effectively and create a supportive, connected environment for our team and clients alike.
