How You Will Make An Impact
- Through a combination of on-the-job training, self-directed learning and targeted exposure, you will develop experience and knowledge of the Energy Downstream specialty line, which will support your transition into an underwriting role.
- Support experienced underwriters with underwriting new and renewal business to help drive the profitable growth of the business line
- Support experienced underwriters with assessing the desirability of risk
- Build relationships with brokers, account executives, clients and other stakeholders by networking and attending broker events
- Deliver excellent service to brokers
- Support experienced team members with creating monthly management information using your analytical and interpretive skills.
- Linguistic skills will help drive your progression and develop your personal brand through your support on specific global accounts
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2026.
- Fluent German speaker
- Previous work or volunteering experience in any industry or sector
- Evidence of extra-curricular activities
- Willingness to support your experienced team members with administrative work, special projects and ad-hoc requests, realising the opportunities presented can be utilised as learning and development experiences
- A team player with strong communication, networking and relationship building skills.
- Strong analytical skills
- Customer and Sales orientated behaviors: motivated, proactive, and accountable.
