About the role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Compensation Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the design, implementation and management of compensation programs, partnering with Compensation Partners to execute the AIG compensation strategy in alignment with the business’ priorities. This role reports to the Head of Compensations in UK and EMEA.
What you need to know:
- Support in conducting and preparing analysis for gender pay gap reporting requirements in EMEA and APAC.
- Assist the Compensation team in preparing for the EU Pay Transparency Directive and pay parity audit requirements.
- Analyse and ensure Company compliance with country-specific pay and remuneration laws.
- Support the annual survey participation process and ongoing market pay level and practice reviews.
- Manage the Job Family Architecture, including creation and maintenance of job families and assessment of gaps in documentation and levelling.
- Assess job levels/grading based on the scope of responsibilities and evaluate against internal criteria.
- Utilise external and internal data for job benchmarking and peer group analyses.
- Manage data audits and compensation within Workday.
- Facilitate the annual compensation review processes, working closely with Business Compensation and the HR Business Partner teams.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Progressive compensation experience preferably within the financial services industry and/or large corporate environment.
- Demonstrated experience analysing and utilising complex data, with strong applied analytical and maths skills.
- Understanding and interest in regulatory compensation and remuneration practices, particularly across UK/EMEA.
- Proven understanding of total compensation including base pay and variable pay programs.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, and analyse, synthesise, and draw conclusions from data.
- Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to effectively engage and coordinate stakeholders and drive projects to completion.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are required to translate data findings into clear and concise documents and presentations.
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy, particularly when managing reporting and complex data.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive compensation data.
- Workday experience preferred.
