How you will create an impact
Focused on Casualty, this role is an ideal opportunity to develop your expertise in handling and investigating complex claims. The role will provide exposure and opportunity to apply your expertise and develop knowledge of handling Casualty Claims. You will proactively deal with claims in accordance with best practice guidelines which are central to AIG's quality standards. You will have a client-centric mindset focused upon ensuring optimal total cost and outcome of claims. Your work will involve regular contact with internal stakeholders, brokers, experts, and external lawyers. In addition, you will use your claims expertise to support the feedback loop to key stakeholders and our culture of underwriting excellence.
What you'll need to succeed
- Claims handling experience, with Casualty experience being an advantage.
- A customer-centric mindset is critical.
- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment within which such claims are handled.
- Proven ability to make an accurate and timely decision.
- Policy language skills enabling accurate and consistent policy wording interpretation.
- Lateral thinking and the ability to problem solve and develop new ideas to improve working practices.
- Strong desire to support a key aim of continuous improvement, identify opportunities and contribute to effective solutions.
