Join us as a Technical Assistant. Talbot operates within the Lloyd's Insurance Market through Syndicate 1183 and Syndicate 2019. Talbot writes a diversified portfolio including Crisis Management, Energy, Financial Lines, Marine, Political Risk, Property and Terrorism. Drawing on our deep industry expertise, Talbot develops tailored insurance solutions that address clients' evolving and often unique needs.
How you will create an impact:
- Assist in monitoring and updating of operational reports
- Responsible for all documentation to be scanned and indexed into the DMS system
- Responsible for ensuring timeliness are met for all measured tasks (e.g. Data quality review, peer review, written date, aggregate data entry, etc.)
- Ensure data entry is in accordance with agreed guidelines, e.g. endorsements, quotes, promise lines
- Ensure the underwriting teams promptly address items received electronically (i.e. electronic trading platforms and email)
- Attend and prepare necessary documentation for team meetings (Underwriting and/or UTS)
- Adhere to the internal binder approval process
- Provide box support at Lloyd’s when required
- Responsible for building and maintaining close working relationships with third party providers and brokers
- Responsible for Lloyd’s Reporting (such as PMD and Part VII)
- Completing Daily USM processing
