Responsible for overseeing the web development strategy and projects within the association. Manage a team of web developers and designers, ensuring successful and timely project delivery. Involved in project planning, website design, development, technical expertise, and quality assurance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate project updates to stakeholders, and monitor website performance. The role reports to the Digital Delivery Manager.

You will:

  • Develop and implement the overall web development strategy for the organization.
  • Manage a team of web developers, designers, and related professionals involved in web projects.
  • Monitor and optimize web application performance, user experience, and conversion rates.
  • Manage digital infrastructure, including web servers, databases, cloud platforms, and networking components.
  • Assist with daily production and non-production issues, act as an escalation point, resolve urgent or complex issues, and manage expectations.
  • Contribute to training materials and instructions for end-users.
  • Ensure applications interact smoothly with different systems and business processes.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, issues, and recommendations for remediation or change.
  • Proactively communicate with support partners, business areas, and third-party vendors affected by network or data center infrastructures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

You have:

  • Extensive experience in advanced software support and web development, including Tier 2 or Tier 3 support.
  • Understanding of front-end and back-end web development principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in responsive design, UX, and UI concepts, with the ability to contribute to website layout, navigation, and user flow.
