About the Role: You will focus on gathering and analysing member business and market intelligence to support decision-making and strategic programmes across all the Association's propositions and audiences. The Market Intelligence Researcher will provide the insight behind the numbers to promote data-driven decision-making and planning by partners, and improve customer outcomes. You will report to The Senior Manager - Market Intelligence & Insights. This role is intended to be a hybrid position, working from our London office, but we are also open to hiring remotely. You will ideally start in October 2025.

You Will:

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research.
  • Summarise research findings into relevant insights to empower partners in their development of product, marketing and business strategies.
  • Establish best practice across the Association and develop new strategies to increase response rates for important research surveys.
  • Consolidate information from multiple sources, using technology to establish clear trends and weighting to be applied to support prioritisation.
  • Collect data from diverse sources.
  • Define total addressable market for each Proposition and Programme area and use analysis to provide strategy recommendations.
  • Analyse large sets of structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns, correlations, and meaningful insights.
  • Support the Experience teams in developing campaigns to support better audience engagement and Return on investment.
  • Work with the Strategy team on sensing future trends and opportunities for the Association.
  • Establish a network of organisations driving the important technological changes, advising on associated changes from Gen Z and a changing working environment to improve on job roles, capabilities and business models.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and presentations that summarise research findings in a clear and applicable format.
  • Use a hybrid work schedule.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Market/Business Intelligence, Data Science, Economics, Market Research, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, market research, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Experience with market research and survey research working on complex data sets.
  • Experience with Market Intelligence & Business Reporting tools such as Qualtrics, Spreadsheets (can perform complex functions), SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau plus presentation platforms for data visualisation.
