The predicted salary is between 60000 - 75000 £ per year.

You will lead tax and compliance activities for the Association. Work with external and internal partners to support strategic goals and ensure compliance both in the UK and internationally, noting the dynamic activities under the Association umbrella. You will report to the Director – Tax & Compliance and use a hybrid work schedule.

You Will:

  • Prepare and file UK VAT returns, EU MOSS returns and other foreign indirect tax returns.
  • Calculate annual VAT recovery rate, based on an extra statutory concession and subscription apportionment calculation.
  • Prepare transaction documentation annually for external firm which prepares the corporate tax returns, including gathering supporting information from our teams.
  • Monitor sales, partnering with external advisors to assess compliance obligations globally.
  • Assess taxability of products, ensuring you configure indirect tax rules in our technical systems.
  • Research and document conclusions on compliance issues, preparing guidance and advising other departments, staying up to date with tax law changes affecting taxation of the organisation.
  • Lead on global tax projects such as transfer pricing.
  • Prepare tax expense budgets and forecasts.
  • Complete monthly journal entries and reconciliations.

You Have:

  • Tax or accounting qualification, like CTA or ACA.
  • 6+ years of indirect tax experience with 3+ years gained in practice.
