The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Manage designated assessments, ensuring that they are available at the right time, quality, and budget. This includes managing the people and processes relating to the development of assessments and related examination material (pre-examinations) and the processes leading to the issue of examination results (post-examinations) in a computer-based testing environment.
You will report to Senior Director – PQ Delivery & Operations.
You Will:
- Manage a designated aspect of CIMA's examinations and assessments to agreed standards and timelines.
- Work with colleagues across the Management Accounting Professional Unit and specifically the Examinations team to review and enhance CIMA examination provision.
- Form excellent internal working relationships to coordinate activities with other CIMA units, ensuring that goals are across CIMA and meet both CIMA’s operational and strategic objectives.
- Ensure Faculty contracts comply with CIMA’s standard contracts for services and agreed within budget.
- Ensure that the expectations of partners (CIMA students) are managed.
- Ensure that all assessments are prepared and delivered to the goal of zero defects.
- Co-ordinate specific aspects of the examination administration as directed by the Associate Director - Assessment, Management Accounting and VP- Examinations, Management Accounting.
- Responsible for the end-to-end implementation and delivery for a designated aspect of CIMA's examinations (objective tests and human marked examinations), monitoring the performance of relevant item banks/examinations and taking corrective action.
- Responsible for the recruitment, appointment and monitoring the performance of faculty members.
- Responsible for the daily management of the Faculty members working on the assessments and any related materials.
- Ensure that all guidelines leading to the release of results are adhered to.
- Resolve issues and engage with all partners to ensure all exam and assessment projects are delivered on time and within set budgets.
- Any other responsibilities which may include project work and development of assessments for new products.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of related experience.
- Understanding of assessment principles and methodologies.
- Experience developing high stakes assessments within an awarding or professional body.
- Experience managing auto scored and human marked examinations.
- IT literacy (intermediate to high).
- Understanding of examinations and assessment within an educational context (professional and vocational qualifications).
- An accounting background – part/qualified.
- Experience working with committees.
- Experience of working with regulated qualifications.
- Use a CRM/database.
