Channel Development Manager (Resellers, Affiliates & Referral Partners)
We are looking for a Channel Development Manager to recruit, onboard, activate, and grow a network of revenue-generating referral partners, affiliates, resellers, advisors, and channel sales partners.
This role is focused on partner acquisition and channel revenue growth. It is not a technology partnerships, strategic alliances, systems integrator, or delivery ecosystem role.
Success in this position comes from identifying commercially motivated partners, bringing them into the network, enabling them effectively, and helping them generate introductions, pipeline, and revenue.
You will work closely with our leadership team to build and execute a repeatable partner recruitment and activation motion. The focus is not simply signing partners, but helping them become commercially productive and contribute measurable business growth.
What You'll Do
- Research and identify high-potential referral partners, affiliates, resellers, advisors, consultants, and channel sales partners aligned with our target market.
- Build and execute outbound, referral-driven, and relationship-based partner recruitment campaigns.
- Qualify, recruit, onboard, and activate new commercial partners.
- Clearly communicate our value proposition and partner opportunity to prospective partners.
- Enable partners to confidently position, introduce, and recommend our solutions to relevant customers.
- Create repeatable onboarding and activation processes that move partners from initial interest to active revenue contribution.
- Develop partner enablement materials, onboarding flows, outreach templates, training sessions, and playbooks.
- Track partner recruitment, onboarding, activation, pipeline generation, and revenue performance.
- Gather partner feedback and work with internal stakeholders to improve messaging, partner programs, and commercial outcomes.
- Continuously refine the ideal partner profile and recruitment strategy based on results.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience recruiting, onboarding, and activating referral partners, affiliates, resellers, channel partners, agents, brokers, advisors, or partner-led sales networks.
- Demonstrated success building partner acquisition programs that resulted in measurable pipeline, revenue, or commercial outcomes.
- Strong ability to communicate value propositions and help partners understand how to generate opportunities and customer introductions.
- Experience designing activation and enablement processes, not simply managing existing partner relationships.
- Strong outbound prospecting, research, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Commercially minded, highly organised, and comfortable operating in an early-stage, fast-moving environment.
- Ability to build structure and repeatable processes from ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior operators, consultants, advisors, founders, and business leaders.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with referral, reseller, affiliate, advisor, or channel partner programs.
- Experience in B2B technology, AI, automation, consulting, or professional services.
- Experience creating partner playbooks, onboarding materials, enablement content, or training programs.
- Familiarity with partner-sourced, partner-influenced, or referral-based go-to-market models.
- Experience working with CRM and partner management tools.
