AI Training Lead

Location: Hybrid (London) with regular travel to clients. These are primarily based in the south east of England but other travel is expected.

Experience level: 2-4 years

Compensation: Base salary (40-50k, some flexibility depending on experience) + bonus

What you'll do

We're seeking an enthusiastic AI trainer who will deliver and lead our training and innovation sessions who aligns deeply with our mission.

Client Delivery (60%)

• Deliver engaging sessions covering AI literacy and ethics or innovation sessions to build custom tools for diverse audiences, based on existing AIConfident toolkits and materials.
• Provide hands-on AI policy and governance support tailored to each client's context, using AIConfident’s existing AI policy tool.

Account Management (20%)

• Working closely with the Lead Consultant, taking clients from initial enquiries and proposals through to delivery and follow up.
• Taking learnings from your delivery to iterate proposal/sales materials.
• Build trusted relationships where clients see you as their go-to AI advisor.
• Act as an enthusiastic ambassador for AIConfident externally.

Workshop and toolkit development (20%)

• Develop and refine our toolkit of repeatable training materials and resources. This might be developing new workshops, writing accompanying materials, building custom AI tools or contributing to AIConfident’s thought leadership.
• Help grow our emerging product offerings to extend our reach and impact.

Who you are

Critical: A growth mindset is key for us at AIConfident, but we're looking for somebody who wants to grow alongside a mission-driven company.

• 2-4 years of professional experience but we're open minded on what this is. It might be consulting, training or account management/sales. Through your experience we're looking for core skills in communications, client/stakeholder engagement and project management.
• Genuine passion and curiosity about AI technologies and their societal implications. You don't need to be a technical expert, but you will love learning and care about responsible use of AI technologies and our role in shaping technology and society.
• Natural communicator who can make complex topics accessible and engaging for non-technical audiences. You'll be comfortable adapting your communication style - from coaching beginners on their AI journey through to understanding strategic implications of the investments clients are making.
• Self-starter who thrives on autonomy. Highly organised and able to manage multiple client projects and associated logistics simultaneously. You'll always keep information about your clients up-to-date (i.e. internal dashboards) and share key information with the team.
• Comfortable managing client relationships with professionalism and warmth.
• You'll be comfortable working with digital tools in a safe and responsible way.
• Aligned with our mission and values - you want your work to create positive change and will champion these publicly.
• Experience delivering training, workshops or coaching. We don't expect you to be a qualified coach but we want you to be able to build other people's capacity rather than dependence on AIConfident
• Understanding of organisational change management
• Understanding of AI policy, ethics, or governance
• Experience turning individual approaches into repeatable materials
• Experience within a startup and comfortable working in ambiguity
