Your job is to:
Increase early-life retention
Reduce churn caused by expectation mismatch
Improve activation speed and habit formation
Simplify the product by removing what doesn\’t work
This role directly impacts ARR.
What you\’ll ownRetention & PLG (primary)
Day-1 / Day-7 / Day-30 retention
Activation rate and \”time-to-aha\”
Cohort analysis by acquisition source, intent, and promise
Feature adoption → retention → LTV linkage
Deep data ownership (non-negotiable)
Own product metrics end-to-end (not just dashboards)
Build and interpret cohort analyses, funnels, and retention curves
Comfort working directly with raw data (SQL / analytics tools)
Identify leading indicators of churn before it happens
Run disciplined experiments and correctly interpret results
Separate signal from noise in messy, real-world datasets
You don\’t need to be a data scientist — but you must be able to interrogate data yourself and form strong, defensible product opinions from it.
Product clarity & expectation alignment
Ensure marketing promises match product reality
Reduce user confusion and cognitive load
Kill or redesign features that increase churn
Improve onboarding, education, and defaults
Execution
Define what gets built — and more importantly, what does not
Work closely with engineering, design, and growth
Make fast, evidence-based decisions
Say \”no\” often, with confidence
What we\’re looking for (non-negotiable)You must have:
5+ years as a Product Manager in B2C SaaS
Proven experience scaling a product post-PMF
Deep hands‐on experience with Product‐Led Growth
Strong track record improving retention and LTV
Exceptional data literacy — cohorts, funnels, experiments, LTV modelling
Comfort working with AI‐powered products (LLMs, automation, probabilistic systems)
Bonus (not required, but strong signal)
Experience in job search, career tools, marketplaces, or adjacent sectors
Experience scaling AI consumer products
Background in growth, analytics, or behavioural design
