About the Role
We are seeking a visionary and results-driven Director, AI Advisory to lead our AI strategy and consulting engagements with C-suite clients. This role will be critical in shaping AI roadmaps, advising on large-scale transformations, and growing a high-performing team of consultants and data scientists. The ideal candidate combines deep business acumen with a strong understanding of AI technologies, governance, and adoption dynamics.
Responsibilities
- Client Leadership
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives on AI strategy, adoption, and impact
- Lead complex AI transformation engagements from opportunity assessment through to execution
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to business leaders and stakeholders
- Design and deliver AI maturity assessments, strategic roadmaps, operating models, and use case portfolios
- Guide clients on responsible AI, data governance, and risk management
- Represent the company in client briefing and, as required, at conferences, panels etc.
- Develop intellectual capital including whitepapers, frameworks, and methodologies
- Build and scale the functional practice (e.g., Energy, Healthcare), including product offerings and delivery capabilities
- Mentor and lead multidisciplinary teams of consultants and AI specialists
- Support business development through proposal creation, client presentations, and opportunity scoping.
- Drive revenue growth by cultivating long-term client relationships and identifying expansion opportunities.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in management consulting, technology advisory, or digital transformation, with at least 3 years focused on AI or advanced analytics
- Proven track record of leading high-impact engagements with enterprise clients
- Deep knowledge of AI technologies (e.g., machine learning, NLP, generative AI), and their practical applications.
- Understanding of AI governance, risk, and regulatory considerations
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence
- Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or PhD is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Industry specialization in healthcare, construction, land resources management, energy, or public sector
- Experience working in or advising AI/ML teams and data platforms
