Role Description
We're looking for a versatile and experienced React Native Frontend Developer (with Expo knowledge) to join our passionate, fast-moving team. If you’re excited by the idea of building mobile apps that are not just smart but soulfully designed — we want to hear from you.
What you'll do:
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using React Native and Expo.
- Write clean, scalable, and testable code with strong attention to performance.
- Use the full Expo toolkit (CLI, Go, EAS Build/Submit) to streamline development and delivery.
- Collaborate closely with designers and backend developers to build seamless user experiences.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Use modern state management tools like Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Build smooth, responsive UI components with care for animations and accessibility.
- Identify and resolve bugs across platforms and devices.
- Stay up to date with the latest in React Native, mobile UI/UX, and AI product design.
- Actively shape the product through ideation, architecture, and experimentation.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience with React Native.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with the Expo ecosystem.
- Solid grasp of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Tamagui etc.).
- Confident working with REST APIs and modern development tools (e.g., Git).
- A deep belief in the power of AI-assisted development — you work inside Cursor (or a similar AI-powered IDE) and love using AI tools as part of your daily workflow.
- Passion for building intuitive, scalable, and elegant mobile apps.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and debugging capabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first team environment.
- A portfolio of React Native apps — especially with Expo — is a strong plus.
