Role Description
The Commercial Property Solicitor will handle a broad range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and disposals, leases, portfolio management, and property aspects of corporate and investment transactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising clients on transaction structures, drafting and negotiating contracts and lease documentation, managing due diligence, and liaising with counterparties, agents, and other professional advisers. The role also involves supporting dispute resolution related to property issues, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to business development by maintaining strong client relationships. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Liverpool.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law with experience in commercial practice, ideally within a UK law firm environment.
- Proficiency in Commercial Real Estate and Conveyancing, including handling transactions, leases, and property-related documentation.
- Working knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and Family Law to identify and manage intersecting issues in commercial property matters.
- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with a valid practicing certificate and relevant post-qualification experience in commercial property.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills, with close attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Strong client communication skills, ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Commercial awareness and interest in business, investment, and property markets; experience with international or investor clients is beneficial.
