Be among the first 25 applicants. Full Stack Developer + AI Specialist – UK Based | Digital Health Startup. Join a mission-driven healthtech startup changing UK healthcare through AI. Remote-first | Preferably based in the UK.
About Us We’re building an AI-powered digital health platform to solve one of the biggest problems in the UK healthcare system: delays in appointments, diagnosis, and access to care. Born out of real pain and personal healthcare struggles, our platform is designed to:
- Cut NHS wait times by up to 60%
- Use AI to triage emergency vs. non-emergency
- Offer instant access to UK GPs + international specialists
- Enable at-home diagnostics + health insights
We’re currently 70% developed, with a strong tech team, clinical advisors, and early investor conversations underway. We plan to launch by end of June 2025.
Role: You’ll take a core role in refining, scaling, and integrating machine learning into the platform.
Tech Stack We’re Using:
- Frontend: React (Next.js)
- Backend: Node.js + Express
- Database: PostgreSQL
- AI/ML: Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow), OpenAI, LangChain (future phases)
- Hosting: AWS / Vercel
Your Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable APIs and UI for healthcare modules.
- Integrate AI/ML models for triage, predictive analytics, and diagnostics.
- Collaborate with our healthcare & product teams to turn clinical ideas into tech.
- Ensure GDPR, NHS data standards & security compliance.
- Build MVP features fast, while planning for scale.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2+ years of experience in full-stack development
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML model integration
- Strong understanding of React, Node, PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with healthcare or strong interest in healthtech
- Bonus: UK-based or has understanding of NHS workflows
- You’re proactive, problem-solving, and love building things from scratch.
