We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team in the Richmond office. This role will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns across our website and social media channels. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to grow their skills in digital marketing while contributing to the company's online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain website content to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Monitor website performance metrics
  • Collaborate with the web development team to implement marketing-driven improvements and new features
  • Ensure website SEO best practices are being followed and identify optimization opportunities
  • Manage website landing pages for campaigns, webinars, and product launches
  • Coordinate website updates with broader marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Help with creating, scheduling, and publishing content across assigned social media platforms (mostly LinkedIn)
  • Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities
  • Work alongside Marketing team to develop social media content calendars in alignment with marketing campaigns
  • Assist in creating digital marketing content including blog posts, and copy for various campaigns
  • Support the planning and execution of digital marketing promotions and product launches
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaign ideas and strategies
  • Support the planning, promotion, and execution of company webinars and online events
  • Monitor registration numbers and assist with pre-event email communications
  • Support post-webinar follow-up activities and content repurposing
  • Assist with other marketing projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) Required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with or keen interest in digital marketing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM principles
  • Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress)
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (HubSpot)
  • Photography or video editing experience
