AI Connect are partnering with an international organisation to help them hire a Senior Data Management Specialist. You’ll play a key role in shaping a new international data ecosystem as multiple businesses align under a shared group-wide data strategy. This role sits at the centre of a major transformation programme focused on improving data quality, governance, standards, and ownership across multiple international markets. You’ll help ensure data is trusted, aligned, and structured consistently across the organisation.
What You’ll Do
- Help establish and improve practical data governance and data management practices across multiple international markets.
- Drive improvements in data quality, standards, ownership, and metadata, ensuring data can be trusted and reused across systems and reporting.
- Work closely with business and technology teams to identify where data processes, integrations, or flows break down and help improve them.
- Support the development of a shared business glossary and common data definitions to align terminology and reporting across the group.
- Influence stakeholders across the organisation, helping communicate the importance of strong data management and its impact on business performance.
- Embed data management principles into new initiatives and systems from the outset.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience within Data Management, including governance, data quality, stewardship, standards, and lifecycle management.
- Experience working with large customer datasets in complex B2C or international organisations.
- Ability to drive collaboration across business and technology teams while remaining clear and decisive on governance and standards.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts in a practical, business-focused way.
- Experience implementing data management frameworks in real-world environments, ensuring adoption across teams and processes.
- A consulting or advisory background is highly advantageous.
