Part-Qualified Accountant

Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham (Hybrid – 1 day WFH)

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum (DOE)

The Role

We are seeking an AAT Qualified or ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified Accountant to join our growing practice. This is a hands-on role where you will oversee our outsourced bookkeeping function, as well as managing a variety of client-focused accounting responsibilities.

You will be working closely with senior colleagues, gaining valuable exposure to different industries, and developing your skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the outsourced bookkeeping team.
  • Carry out bookkeeping tasks and assist with payroll processing.
  • Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients.
  • Complete and file corporation tax returns.
  • Assist with the preparation of management accounts.
  • Liaise with clients to resolve queries and ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Contribute to team projects and support practice growth.
Requirements
  • AAT Qualified or ACCA / ACA Part-Qualified (essential).
  • Previous practice experience in a similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts preparation.
