Part-Qualified Accountant
Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham (Hybrid – 1 day WFH)

The RoleWe are seeking an AAT Qualified or ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified Accountant to join our growing practice. This is a hands-on role where you will oversee our outsourced bookkeeping function, as well as managing a variety of client-focused accounting responsibilities.
You will be working closely with senior colleagues, gaining valuable exposure to different industries, and developing your skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the outsourced bookkeeping team.
- Carry out bookkeeping tasks and assist with payroll processing.
- Prepare year-end accounts for a range of clients.
- Complete and file corporation tax returns.
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts.
- Liaise with clients to resolve queries and ensure excellent service delivery.
- Contribute to team projects and support practice growth.
- AAT Qualified or ACCA / ACA Part-Qualified (essential).
- Previous practice experience in a similar role.
- Solid knowledge of bookkeeping, payroll, and accounts preparation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build client relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks) is desirable.
