Position Summary

Monitor item set up to ensure consistency and compliance with all regulations. Work with retail based pricing associates (Corporate and Independents) to identify problems and solutions for tag and batch issues. Ensure that Marketing, seasonal and charity programs are set up appropriately. Support and execute store life cycle events such as grand openings, remodels, zone shifts, etc.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for Scan File Coordinators on all pricing related issues.
  • Respond to all requests and opportunities in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local regulations that impact retail pricing activities.
  • Apply seasoned knowledge of unit pricing laws, WIC, bottle deposits and other miscellaneous data to ensure compliance with Federal, State, County, and City laws.
  • Review and approve item changes ensuring accurate item set up and information.
  • Notify respective Category areas of item set up errors and trends (SCAP).
  • Analyze weekly item file comparison reports to identify issues with key item attributes.
  • Run and review reports from Control D and other parts of the business.
  • Perform Voice of Retail (VOR) research and communication.
  • Not on File (NOF) research and communication.
  • Aid in the implementation and support of Marketing projects, seasonal pricing programs and charity PLU set up.
  • Support Store Lifecycle – Store opening, closing, zone moves processing (Corporate stores and Independents).
  • Act as IT liaison for global pricing related concerns.
  • Support tag processing and tag vendor relationship.

Basic Qualifications

  • Basic level of knowledge of company, business and industry practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the following computer programs: Microsoft Office, SEGA, DSS, LlamaSoft, WMS, PFT, Inforem, Tableau, Revionics, MSP.

Education

  • High School Diploma.

Experience

  • Experience working in a retail environment.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in the Windows environment.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of SEGA and MSP.
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge.
