Overview

Could you help a global NGO produce charity videos for fundraising and promotion to raise awareness of health issues in Africa? Your expertise will help shape how we present ourselves to our service users, stakeholders, funders, and the public. Through videos on our website and social media, you will assist in reaching out to volunteering communities and service users.

What are we looking for?

  • Qualification or studying in film, communication, media studies, fine art/visual art, graphic design, information technology/multimedia, photography/film/television, or similar.
  • At least three (3) years of video editing experience, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Patience, concentration, and strong communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to speak one of Africa\’s widely spoken languages is an advantage but not required.

Role Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage, insert voice-overs, music, sound effects, and graphics.
  • Record voice-overs with AHO Goodwill Ambassadors and the President.
  • Identify and utilize royalty-free videos and materials.
  • Trim and assemble video segments to tell compelling stories.
  • Work on videos for charity promotion and fundraising on various platforms.

Additional Information

Volunteering is unpaid. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience and contribute to meaningful health awareness projects in Africa.
